"BARBECUE PULLED PORK IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES WHEN IT COMES TO SOUTHERN COOKIN.’ AND TWO OF MY FAVORITE SIDES TO EAT WITH IT ARE MAC & CHEESE AND STEWED GREENS. FOR ME, THAT CREAMY, CHEESY GOODNESS NEVER GETS OLD, NOR DOES THE COMPLEMENTARY YUMMINESS OF SMOKY, SLIGHTLY ACIDIC STEWED GREENS. (ALSO, EATING ANYTHING GREEN MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I’M EATING HEALTHY, WHICH IS ALWAYS A PLUS.) THIS DISH IS A PLAY ON THAT. I’VE EMBELLISHED SOME CHEESY MAC WITH ONE OF MY FAVORITE PREPARATIONS OF BARBECUE PULLED PORK. AND ON THE SIDE, FOR GOOD MEASURE, ARE MY TRUSTY STEWED GREENS." — DAINA FALK
